United Nations in Ghana: Voices from the Field

This publication is the first compilation of stories of what the United Nations does in Ghana. It comprises 33 stories that cover a wide range of areas where UN assistance has made tangible contributions to achieving the MDGs in Ghana. The stories include, Actions on climate change and disaster risk management, Kangaroo mother care, Resource efficiency in Cocoa processing industry, The UN MDG Acceleration Framework, etc.  

The 33 stories cover a wide range of areas where UN assistance has made tangible contributions to achieving the MDGs in Ghana and to making a difference in the lives of Ghanaian men, women and children.

Each story indicates the MDG targets and UNDAF results to which the described intervention has contributed as well as the national and international partners who have been instrumental in achieving the intended results.
