UN Ghana August 2022 Newsletter
10 August 2022
Getting a community to host refugees does not always come easy due to resource scarcity. In Fatentaa, a host community in the Brong Ahafo region of Ghana, the Chief Nana Kofi Nti Yeboah II, recounts efforts to convince the community to host Ivorian refugees. Today, 10 years on, Fatentaa is thriving; IOM launches its latest Country Strategy for 2022-2025; Ghana prepares for Transforming Education Summit; and UNDP and Societe Generale Ghana PLC partner to promote innovations and inclusive entrepreneurship in Ghana. These and many more are in this edition of our Newsletter.
