Our Work on the Sustainable Development Goals in Ghana

How the UN is supporting The Sustainable Development Goals in Ghana

The UN and its partners in Ghana are working towards achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs): 17 interconnected and ambitious Goals which address the major development challenges faced by people in Ghana and around the world. The UN works in partnership with the Government and people of Ghana for sustainable economic, social and environmental development, peace and democracy, and human rights. The UN Sustainable Development Partnership 2018-2022 (UNSDP) sets out the collective support of 24 UN Agencies working in Ghana.  It is anchored in the vision of the Coordinated Programme of Economic and Social Development Policies 2017-2024 for self-reliant economic transformation, inclusive growth and the realisation of the SDGs in Ghana, and is delivered through four Results Areas and cross-cutting priorities.
